Day 10: Thank You's!

Since Jer was at work today, after church my mother and I decided it was time to catch up on all the Thank You notes for the showers. We really only had the past two showers to do, but it still took almost 1.5 hours to do. I'm scared for the Thank You notes I'll have to do after the wedding. I say 'I'll' because Jer claims he has terrible handwritting, and because I love him, I let him get away with it. So I'll probably end up doing all that and have him address the envelopes or something...but maybe that's a bad idea...what if they get lost? It might just be safer to do them myself even though I'd love some help. I don't know.

Anyways we had a system and it worked really well, I wrote the note and put the name on the envelope, mom addressed the rest of the envelope, and dad sealed and stamped. Lovely. Done, and done.

On another note (literally), I wanted to give a shout out to my bridesmaids Em, Awi, and Sasha, who are going to help keep me patient, and sane the next ten days while the plans get finished up before the wedding. Emily was keeping a list of the gifts at the shower she gave me, and knew I would smile when I read what she wrote what Sasha gave me.

Ah I love my bridesmaids! If they hadn't have been involved and helping, this would have been a whole lot more stressful. Thank goodness for girlfriends!
